Process
To start this project, I selected the theme and name of the magazine. Next, I conducted research on similar publications to understand their style and content. Then, I began sketching out the layout and topics for each page in my sketchbook. Once I finalized these aspects, I meticulously assembled the magazine, following my sketches closely. Opting for an urban style, I curated designs that harmonized with the featured content, integrating various textures, blending styles, and incorporating illustrations where appropriate.
When creating advertisements and selecting company names, I drew inspiration from the magazine's content and aesthetic. I aimed for each ad to possess a distinct style while still complementing the overall look and feel of the publication.
Throughout the project, I utilized my iPad, along with Adobe Illustrator,Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign, to bring the designs to life.
